Dubai has become one of the great music cities of the world. Almost entirely for DJs.

On any weekend here you can dance to the best electronic acts on the planet. What you can rarely do is sit under the open sky and listen to a singer. Desert Live was started by two friends, Mark and Stefano, who kept noticing that gap.

We both grew up far from here, in the places those voices come from. Think Harry Styles. Think Adele. The artists we would cross the world to see, and still want to hear when we are home in Dubai. So we decided to stop waiting for someone else to bring them.

Desert Live is our answer: one night, one iconic artist, an intimate audience and hospitality that belongs to this city. No festival fields, no ten-stage line-ups. A voice, a stage, and the desert at sunset.

It is also a love letter to the place we live. The UAE is a country of possibilities, and it is far more varied and beautiful than most people ever get to see. Every Desert Live night is a chance to show that: to the artists, to their audiences, and to everyone watching.
